There’s a single woman on my floor who died a couple of years ago. All that’s left is a high school granddaughter. The woman raised her on her own, provided for her in everything and at the same time, pitied and pampered her. For the girl’s sake she got a dog or a cat, but that was half the trouble. There were always people from the delivery service on our floor – the girl was always making expensive purchases on the Internet, and my grandmother somehow miraculously paid for it all. I don’t know where exactly they got the money for everything, but I heard in passing that the neighbor was renting out her apartment.
We felt sorry for the woman in absentia – such a misfortune with her daughter, and also alone, without a husband and son-in-law, raising a little girl. But we could not imagine that the neighbor was completely crazy because she wanted to do everything for her granddaughter.
After graduating from school she could not go anywhere, sat at home, looking for a job and at the same time looking for faults in herself. Grandma first ordered braces, and then clung to the rhinoplasty – her nose is not so, you see.
If my daughter or anyone had told me something like that, I would have scolded her for not liking herself. What nature has given you, you should be happy with. But this was a very different case.

First she borrowed from one place as much as they gave her, then from another, and then she had to borrow from a third place to pay it off first.
