Victoria was a frequent visitor to her father’s house. She had visited him at least once a week since he had been alone, without his wife. The man lived extremely modestly, on a minimum pension, and her daughter had enough conscience to come and beg for money. What did the old man want? Nothing more than to pay the rent, buy food for broth and bread. The rest he would save, put aside, and then her daughter would come and beg for most of it.
Victoria herself was already married, with a child, but she did not have enough money for anything. Her husband did not allow any extravagance, he only gave her money for the baby, and Victoria also wanted to buy something for herself. She was also sinning with business ideas. She wanted to open her own bakery, then an online store with re-buys from other larger stores, and now she announced that she would start her own business in investment, but she needed money for courses and capital.
At first, the grandfather was more willing to give, thinking that his daughter was spending on her granddaughter as well, but when he heard about his child’s failures over and over again, he started giving much less. Victoria was angry at this, came up with new ideas, and the last time she stopped by with an order to take a loan from her father, mortgaging the apartment, because otherwise she would never set foot in his house again. Now Grandpa is completely confused, he doesn’t know what to do. He kept silent for so many years, he did not tell his son-in-law or his friends, and now he is ashamed to admit that his daughter tried to cheat him out of everything, and now she is blackmailing him.
