Adam was not a perfect husband, but the way he behaved in the store was the last straw.

Sandra was raised by her grandmother, and her mother had married and had children and lived in another city. She had no interest in her daughter at all.

After her grandmother, the nearest and dearest person was her neighbor, Grandma Emma. Grandma was friends with her, and to Sandra she was a second grandmother. She often visited her and sometimes bought all sorts of goodies. Sandra had recently gotten married. She and her husband lived in her apartment. But in married life, Adam was not as gallant and cultured as he had been before the wedding.

In the evening after work, Adam met his wife at the store. They had to buy food. They went in together, and when they got to the cash register, Adam stepped aside and stood on the sidelines. After paying for her purchases, Sandra hoped to hand him the packages. When she turned around, she did not see him, he had left the store. -Adam, take the bags, please, they are heavy.
– Why do you have to carry them yourself?
-If only because you’re a man and I’m a woman and the bags are heavy.
-So what if I’m a man, I’m not small, you can carry them. I am not a wimp in order to carry your packages.

Adam said and quickly went forward, knowing that his wife would not be able to catch up with him. It was not far to the house, but the packages were heavy. She thought Adam was joking and would be right back. But no, he was not joking, he really left. His friends advised him to say his manly word and bring up his wife. A man should decide what he should do, not his wife dictate.

-Adam, help me, where are you going?” shouted Sandra after him. He knew that the bags were really heavy, because he had put the products in the basket himself. But he did not stop. Sandra walked on, barely able to hold back her tears. She wanted to throw the packages away, but as if in a dream she continued to carry them. When she reached the entrance, she sat down on a bench. Out of resentment she wanted to cry. He knew what she was going through, he did it on purpose.

-Hello, Sandra!” Grandma Emma said.
– Hello, I was just coming to see you. Again Sandra took the packages and went up to her. She gave all her purchases to her. Grandma was in seventh heaven, for with her pension she could not afford it all. After kissing her grandmother goodbye, she went up to her room. As soon as she opened the door, her husband immediately jumped out to meet her, in anticipation of the delicious shopping.

-Where are the packages?
– What packages? The packages you helped me carry? – She asked calmly.
– Come on, are you offended?
– No, I wasn’t offended.

Adam expected her to start swearing, shouting, but she was surprisingly very calm.

lava expected her to start swearing, shouting, but she was surprisingly very calm. My husband probably needs a man himself.
-Didn’t get it.
-I thought I had a man by my side, but you don’t want a woman by your side, you want a man who carries heavy things.

Sandra walked silently into the bedroom, packed up his suitcase, and kicked him out of her apartment. She knew that if she kept quiet now, it would be too late later. Next time it would be worse.
