“I didn’t find myself in a dumpster” as I taught my husband a lesson for humiliation

I lived with my husband for seven years and all hell broke loose. No, my spouse never raised his hand at me, always helped around the house and was very courteous. That’s not the point! At one point he just stopped respecting me…

He started making constant complaints and accusations and yelling. He was proving to me that I wasn’t earning enough, wasting his money and doing nothing at all. I was so angry! Yes, I earn less than he does, but I have enough money of my own if I spend it on myself. We don’t have kids yet. Perhaps that is the main problem…

We rent a two-bedroom apartment, and I’m perfectly capable of paying for my half. That’s what I told my husband. Then I packed my things and moved them into the hall. I sent a console and a TV set to his bedroom. I do not watch it anyway, and otherwise there would have been fighting. Our rooms are isolated – live happily! At first my spouse started yelling at me, calling me a fool. I kept silent and did not react to such tricks. Then he humbled himself and even thanked me for such a wonderful opportunity to prove a point.

Two weeks passed. During this time, I felt all the charms of single life. No one stresses me out, I do not run home to cook dinner and I have cut my grocery bill in three. Recently I went to the salon and got a new haircut. I was able to use the money left over to buy a dress and spring boots. After work, I can hang out with my girlfriends, go for a walk around town, and even go for a stretching session. Previously, all this was for me the cruelest taboo. Every day I am getting prettier and happier with my new life.

And what about my husband? Angry, sleepless, hungry. He only eats dumplings and tea. Occasionally makes himself an egg. His stock of clean socks is already over, soon it will be the turn of T-shirts and shirts. He rarely washes or shaves. I think people will soon be shying away from him… Several times my spouse tried to make peace. I’m holding off for now. Why should I rush, if I really started a new life! Without the scandals and humiliation! For myself, I decided this: if he wants to get together on my terms – I’ll get together, if he proposes a divorce – I’ll divorce! And I really do not care what happens next. I’m not lost in this life, but he should think about it a little more. The main thing is that I do not hear any more accusations and insults in my address!
