Kameroun sadly passed away in May of 2015, but before she did, she made sure to leave detailed instructions for Semper Fidelis on where to find her family once he was grown. And search diligently he did – finally found his way back home just a few weeks ago! His reunion with Kameroun’s mother is nothing short of heartwarming and the two can now be together forever.
As it turned out, Semper had been living with a family in Northern California the entire time! After Campos tracked down the family and verified that they were indeed taking care of Semper, she delivered him back to Kameroun. The moment they were reunited was captured on video and is absolutely heartwarming.
Semper was reunited with his family in May 2017, a full year after he disappeared. Kameroun says that Campos’ detective work played a major role in the reunion.
I’m sorry to hear that Semper didn’t turn out to be the perfect dog for you. It’s unfortunate that he was sold on Craigslist without any kind of background check being done first. Hopefully, he is now in a loving home where he will be taken care of properly.
After a long and emotional reunion, Kameroun and Semper were finally back together again.
