After my grandmother died, I inherited a small plot of land with a house. As time passed, the borders of the city expanded and my plot ended up in the city. We decided not to live in a small apartment, but to make a major renovation of the house and move there to live.
If you knew how much money we spent. We had water piped into the house, installed a sewer system, drew up gas permits and had our future abode completely gasified.
Then it was time to furnish the house. We spent almost a year doing major repairs, changing windows and doors, buying furniture. Our neighbors were doing the same. All were planning to move here permanently in the near future. We were in our new home the whole time. We were so tired during the renovation that we decided to take a week’s vacation down south. On our return, we found that we had been robbed.
A lot of valuables had been taken. We immediately rushed to the police and filed a report. Time passed, and the case was still there. We decided to go after it ourselves. My husband went around and asked the neighbors. Maybe somebody saw something.
The neighbors across the street didn’t want to talk to him. Not only that, they wouldn’t even let my husband into their yard. That made us nervous. We thought for a long time about how to get into their territory and we found a way out. My husband launched a quadcopter in their yard. And what do you think we found a lot of our stuff in their yard. My husband immediately went over there and showed them the video footage. Told them to return everything in good health, or we will show the police our video evidence. Only a week later our neighbors deigned to return our things. By the way, they returned every last bit of it.
We stopped all communication with them and other neighbors avoid them.
