When Alexandra Del Cima brought her new puppy to visit her grandparents for the first time, she could not believe their reaction. Her grandmother started crying tears of joy and happiness when seeing the little one and it was an incredibly emotional moment for everyone involved. Alexandra’s grandfather even said that he felt like “a young man again” because of how excited his wife was. Seeing them so happy made all the effort worth it for Alexandra – she just wanted her grandparents to be happy again.
After posting the plea, a woman who works at an animal shelter in Utah reached out to offer her grandparents a dog. The pup, named Lola, had been abandoned and was set to be euthanized. But thanks to the kind stranger’s efforts, Lola is now living with Plotnick’s grandparents and providing them with lots of love.
As Alexandra lifted the lid, an adorable ball of fluff started wiggling and hopping around in excitement. That’s when her granny finally realized that she’s getting a new puppy! The two women were so happy and excited, they both started crying tears of joy. And just like that, a beautiful bond between grandmother and granddaughter was formed – all thanks to a little furry friend named Lulu.
“Aww, don’t cry! He is so cute! I thought you would be happy. Do you want to hold him?” Alexandra asked as she handed the little black and white pup over to his new mom.
The couple plans to marry in the spring.
