The two became inseparable and Salati followed Tommy everywhere he went. She would even sleep at the foot of his bed! The dog’s selfless devotion undoubtedly helped Salati overcome the tragedy she had suffered and they made a great team in caring for each other.
As the lion gets bigger, her caretakers make sure to keep a close eye on her and are always ready to intervene if things get too rough. But for now it looks like Salati and Tommy will just continue playing together until one of them tires out first!
