This is already the impudence. They don’t even ask for permission, they just put it in front of them.

Recently a neighbor on the staircase, Maria, told me a funny story that probably happened to every other citizen on the entire globe. However, if such events happened to a person in fact, it would be “both laughing and sinning”. Of course, there is actually very little amusing about the situation.

So here’s the deal. One day an uninvited guest showed up at my girlfriend’s house. They came “out of the blue. Once upon a time, she had lived in another region, and she had a circle of acquaintances. They could not be called too close, but still, from time to time they met for common gatherings over a cup of tea. As the years passed, their lives changed drastically.

They even called each other less often and did not write long letters on social networking sites. Maria left for the capital, and Richard went somewhere beyond Lake Baikal. He got married hastily, and then divorced as quickly. The girl met her old acquaintance a couple of times on neutral territory at a resort in Sochi.

By that time, the guy had managed to get a second wife, but, however, for some reason he went on vacation alone. It turned out that not everything is that simple. Richard came to see his first wife. Maria did not go into the details of this story. The first wife was quite an extraordinary person, windy and calculating. She even seemed foolish and naive to Maria. The young coquette had recently arrived from Turkey, where she was vacationing.

Apparently she was not lucky to meet a rich handsome man who would “carry her in his arms”. After seven days of adventures at sea, together they went to visit Mary. Uninvited acquaintances were delayed for five days, or even more. Maria did not know what to do with herself and was no longer happy to see a friend of her youth. The couple acted brazenly, as if they were at home and not guests.

When the two were finally welcomed out the door, the girl breathed a sigh of relief. It is not for nothing that they say that “an uninvited guest is worse than a Tartar.” A month later, Richard and his second wife were going to stay in the capital again for a week, but here Maria was adamantly against such an intrusion.

“This is already impudence. They don’t even ask permission, but simply put it in front of them that they will come to stay,” she thought frustrated. Maria briefly and matter-of-factly explained to the guys that their behavior was ugly and warned them that she did not intend to turn her apartment into a hostel for all visitors. So there you go, as they say, “it’s a laugh and a sin. It can probably happen to anyone.

It is true, at that moment Maria was not laughing. But she was convinced on her own example that there are different people, and some have no conscience at all.

Do you think Maria did the right thing the second time, refusing her hospitality?
