Recently, a video full of friendship and complicity between two children and a little brown dog went viral on social media. The author of the video, Jorge Teles, a resident of Rio de Janeiro, did not imagine that a scene that is common for the inhabitants of a neighborhood called Rocinha would have so much virality on the internet.
The scene, apparently common, shows two 12-year-old boys sharing the same bicycle, at one point the ‘driver’ named Gustavo, parks the bike next to a little light brown dog, named Cesa, short for -princess-, who quickly climbs on the lap of Caio, the other boy riding behind, so they can have fun together. All the people who witness the game laugh and admire the friendship that the little dog has with the children.
The video moved many Internet users, who mobilized to give the children a new bike. Throughout the bike ride, the dog remains calm and smiling on Caio’s lap, and the trio passes by other neighbors, cars and motorcycles on the street. According to Jorge, the game continues until dawn.
“It’s very pure the friendship between a child and a dog, it’s very beautiful. I have a 6 year old son and when he was 4 years old I bought him a puppy to help him in his development, he was my dog’s first friend”, said Jorge in an interview.
With the repercussion, Jorge received many gifts and alliances, such as basic baskets, haircuts and outings for the kids. The video shared by the protector @deniseadote3, obtained more than 13 thousand likes and views, in addition to 548 comments.
“This trio is the cutest thing,” commented one netizen.
“Best moment ever,” said a second.
“Someone give them a bike for God’s sake!”, Neia added.
