When they rescued Tyson, a puppy in a street situation, they realized that he was nursing from his dead mother’s body, he thought she was alive. However, the one of this puppy, who was rescued while nursing from his deceased mother, saddens more than one.
Like Tyson, many pets are born, raised and die on the streets. Their conditions are not the best, because of their young age and the absence of their parents, many die before reaching adulthood. In fact, when This Is Houston rescuers from Texas arrived at Tyson’s location, they found him clinging to his mother. He was not alone, his siblings were there, but they were also dead, he was the only survivor of that litter. He was malnourished and very sick. As the foundation explained, they took him in and gave him all the treatment he needed to get by. It was not easy because his diagnosis was serious.
“Tyson was found nursing his deceased mother along with some of his remaining siblings. Unfortunately, they passed away and that’s when we were contacted to help Tyson. He was taken to the ER and tested positive for parvo, but fortunately for him, he had not yet caught it well, so he made a fairly quick recovery,” the organization posted on social media.
After a few months of treatment, the dog overcame his illness, separation from his mother and siblings. Seeing him so well recovered, they put him up for adoption. As of March 5, 2022, he had not yet found a family that loves him as he deserves, but we are sure he will soon find one.
