My wife and I separated about a few months ago, and I started to live separately from her in a rented apartment. My wife and I are on friendly terms. A little over a month ago, my ex came to my new apartment in the early morning hours because she needed to download something from our laptop.
I was not alone that morning, but with an adorable girl who was much younger than my spouse. We had started seeing each other before my divorce.
The moment the ex walked into my apartment my new girlfriend came out of the bathroom. Understandably, the girl’s slender body was covered by a single towel. She walked past my spouse and said to her on automatic:
– Good morning, Margaret.
– Good afternoon, Sarah. At this point both hovered for a moment, after which the girl embarrassedly declared:
-Yes, now I’m not likely to pass my credit.
They both started laughing loudly, and I stood there like an idiot and looked at them… And the other day Sarah got that credit automatically.
Now I’m sitting and worried, God forbid they become friends too! And how do you think I should worry about this or everything will be fine?
