My husband and son and I live in a small house, but my mother-in-law doesn’t care. She came to live with us, and not alone, but with her granddaughter

My husband and I lived in Uzbekistan for many years. And then, when our son grew up, we decided to move to live in Russia. We decided that he could get a better education here. We sold a small house in Uzbekistan, sold it very cheaply and moved to live in Samara Oblast. We lived in a small town near Samara. We live very poorly. My husband and I took any job. Then my husband got lucky: he got a job as a personal driver for a businessman.

My son came back after the army and started working. And he transferred to study by correspondence. I myself am a kindergarten teacher by profession. But there is no work for me in our city. Then I remembered that I am good at sewing, and for many years I have been doing just that. I even already have regular customers.

With the money we had when we came from Uzbekistan we could buy half a house. We made some repairs there, and we still live in that house. But recently our life has changed for the worse. My mother-in-law, my husband’s sister and her husband stayed in Uzbekistan. They had a daughter.

Now that little girl has grown up. And so she decided that she should definitely get an education in Russia. But her parents were afraid to let her go alone, and so her grandmother, that is, my mother-in-law, went with her granddaughter. Moreover, no one even consulted with us! We were just put before the fact that they would come and live with us.

I was just shocked by this. My husband couldn’t say no to my mother and my niece coming to the shelter. I talked my husband into refusing them, even throwing tantrums. I don’t understand how the five of us are going to live in two rooms.

– Well, where will our son sleep?
– But he can sleep in the kitchen! – My husband replied.

Of course, our son didn’t like that. And for a month now I have been living in a real hell. My mother-in-law doesn’t like absolutely everything: the groceries we buy, the way I cook, and the way I clean.

My mother-in-law does not receive her pension here. Her pension by proxy in Uzbekistan is received by her daughter. It turns out that my husband and I have to feed my niece and my mother-in-law.

My niece could not find a common language with our son. They fight and quarrel all the time. The girl just calls our house a bedbug and our country sucks.

I hope my husband’s niece will change her mind about studying in Russia and return home to her Uzbekistan. I’m not fighting with my husband-it doesn’t do any good.

I really hope that my husband’s niece won’t get into college, and that they will come home. But even if she gets in, and will get in on a budget, who will teach her? My husband’s sister is always complaining that they don’t have any money.

She and her husband for some reason think that we live very well here in Russia and earn very well. But we don’t! We do not live here, we just survive and we are not able to provide for both my mother-in-law and my husband’s niece.

We are not going to teach our niece, we just don’t have that opportunity…
