Just the other day my dad came to visit me. We got to talking to him that my husband shut down the phone (in active mode, working 15-20 minutes maximum, and turns off, battery changed-stall even worse), so I’m looking for a birthday new phone.
And my husband will give the old one. You know what I need more. Then my dad pulls out an old broken box and says: “This is for you from my grandmother. You can sell it and buy yourself a phone.” Grandma decided to give me her wedding ring. Surprisingly, even the box was preserved.
In addition to the ring inside the box there was a receipt, a tag and a seal. The ring was bought back in 1977. Its weight is just over 7 grams.
Because of my age I can not imagine much or little compared with our prices. But it seems to me that it is expensive. But at that time thick wedding rings were in fashion, so people could afford them.
For example, nowadays not everyone would buy such a ring. I can’t even imagine how much it costs now. It was 583 gold. But I think the Soviet gold is better than today’s gold. The ring, as you can see, is just huge compared to a “standard engagement ring”.
In the end, I said right away that I am not going to sell it. I am going to wear it. In omens I do not believe (say, you can not wear other people’s rings). This thing will be dear to me as a memory. And these phones every year are broken: bought and thrown out.A ring like that I certainly will never buy.
