The ducklings were crossing a busy road when they became trapped between the curb and a storm drain. The mother duck stayed with her babies throughout the ordeal, preventing them from getting run over by cars. Eventually, someone noticed what was happening and helped rescue all of the ducks!
The crying of the bird alerted some nearby construction workers, who then used a ladder to help retrieve the ducklings from inside of the drain. Once they were all safe and sound, momma duck was very grateful! Afterward, she stayed close by in case any other danger arose.
Fortunately, firefighters arrived in time and rescued the little ducks. After their perilous experience, the resilient birds were reunited with their relieved mother.
Phoenix Fire Department has once again shown their dedication and commitment to saving lives, regardless of what or who it is. This kind act will surely bring happiness to the mother duck, as well as all those who witnessed this heartwarming rescue!
