There was a terrible commotion at the train station – someone going somewhere, someone arriving. There was a lot of noise and commotion. The parents promised their daughter, a student, to give her some fruit and vegetables, so she wouldn’t have to buy them at the market. Her own produce from the garden is much better.
Victoria immediately noticed a young guy at the entrance to the train station. He stood with his hand outstretched and asked for money. He looked awful – all dirty, drunk or something. “I’m sick of these beggars” – thought the girl to herself.
The train arrived, the girl took her bag and went out of the station. When she walked near the guy, she gave him a couple of apples with the words – “You must be hungry”. The guy thanked the girl and looked at the floor.
-Something happened to you?
-Yes, no money to get home.
-Ah, money. So you are another one, who does not want to work and only begs for money, everything is clear with you. – Victoria freaked out and headed for the exit. She remembered the incredible beauty of the guy’s eyes, and decided to help. What if he wasn’t lying?
-What’s your name?! – She asked, gazing into the eyes of the boy.
-Alex. And you?
-I’m Victoria. Well, Alex, I decided to believe you. Tell me where you’re going, and I’ll buy you a ticket and put you on the train. I hope you didn’t lie to me. – The boy told the girl where he had to go. Victoria bought him a ticket and also bought food for the journey. Alex said he would pay her back the amount, but he just needed to know where Victoria lived. But the girl did not agree to give such information to a stranger.
Almost fifteen years have passed since then. Victoria already had a family of her own with Robert. Everything was good with them, but then Robert decided to leave. Earlier, the couple took an apartment on credit. The spouse said that he would not claim a part – he leaves everything to his wife. Victoria only did not know that the spouse had not paid the loan for a long time.
She had no money to pay the loan, she did not want to lose her apartment either, no one helped her. She decided to go to the bank to the boss, to ask them.
Victoria walked into the office of the bank manager, all in excitement. She was shocked when she saw Alex there. He was the head of the bank.
-This is the meeting. Alex, isn’t that you?
-Yeah, I remember you too, Victoria. Tell me what happened to you, – the man smiled. Victoria told her story.
-Well, I can’t refuse to help you, don’t worry, nobody will take your house – I’ll give you a loan without interest and the debt will be forgiven. I still remember how you helped me out many years ago. Why don’t we go to the cafe together? I’d like to know how your life has turned out.
-All right, and I’d like to get to know you better.
