Little boy brings home adorable fawn he befriended while playing outside

The little boy had been playing outside when he came across the deer and, naturally enough, decided to take it home with him. The mom was understandably worried at first but soon warmed up to her unusual houseguest. It’s just incredible how comfortable the deer seems around people – in fact, you can even see it nibbling some grass from the lawn!

It turns out that this isn’t an isolated case; wild animals often form surprisingly strong bonds with humans. Brown said that the deer didn’t appear to be afraid of her son, just standing there looking at each other like they were old friends. Eventually, Dominic went back into the house and the deer wandered away.

It definitely seems as if this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment for both Dominic Brown and Bambi!

A year later, Stephanie got a chance to ask the deer what its story was. As it turned out, the deer’s mother had been killed by a hunter when she was just six months old. She explained that ever since then, she’d been scared of humans – until she met Stephanie. The two of them quickly became friends, and would spend hours together every day.
