The kittens were first spotted by the oil worker on his way to work, stuck in a patch of ice and unable to move. He pulled over, got out of his truck, and used his coffee cup to warm up their frozen paws and tails.
Once they were free from the ice, he picked them up and brought them back to his truck for shelter. The man also recorded himself saving the kittens on video – watch it below!
This story makes me so happy! What an amazing thing for Kendall to do, saving those kittens from freezing to death. I’m glad they are all okay now and I hope they find a good home.
When I got close enough, I could see their little tails sticking out of the snow and knew that if I didn’t do something they would freeze to death. Thankfully coffee is a great remedy for cold hands and feet!”
Since a video of Kendall rescuing the three kittens went viral on Facebook, they were all adopted shortly afterwards!
