I made the decision to reduce child support and my son stopped coming to visit me

With my first wife we separated when my son was 8 years old, I had a great relationship with my son, I spared nothing for him, I even left him a house built with my own hands.

I took him fishing, and even on trips, let him drive an electric locomotive, he felt the happiest man, and I was also very happy that my son did not feel fatherless.

But everything changed dramatically when I got married and had two twin daughters. My second wife did not work, she was on maternity leave, and I was catastrophically short of money, since I was paying alimony, and I had two loans at the time.

I decided to reduce the alimony, at least to make ends meet.

I hired a lawyer, and the lawyer was my good friend, and I did not pay her for the service, and I promised that I would pay her after my ex paid the court fees, and that’s what happened, the fees paid were transferred to the account of my lawyer.

The alimony reduction was absolutely fair decision of the judge, as the court recognized that my ex-wife’s income was more for two people than my salary for four dependents, and they reduced my alimony from 25% to 16%.

After this court hearing my son stopped calling me, and soon he stopped coming to visit me at all, we started seeing each other very rarely.

I understand whose fault this was, and I think it is wrong for a mother to start humming to her son about his father, that he is such a jerk. It is not easy for him, he is between a hammer and anvil, and what do you think, dear readers?
