I left my child with my grandmother, and after a while she refused to give him back

You can call me whatever you want, but sometimes life presents us with all sorts of complications. That’s what happened to me. I was a very difficult life situation, a complete lack of finances and no no support at all. That’s why I had to take extreme measures.

After a while, a very unpleasant conflict arose, which I would very much like to resolve peacefully. I would very much like to resolve peacefully. But I don’t know how to get out of it. I don’t know how to get out of it. That’s why I’m asking for your advice, my dear reader.

As you have probably guessed, I am a single mother, and as for my “beloved,” I do not know where he is. In fact, I never counted on him. He’s a very cruel man, and I’ve had enough of his crazy antics. The only family I had left was my grandmother.

A couple of years ago, the situation came up that I was having trouble finding a permanent place to live. And to fix it I decided to go to another city to earn money. Somehow my grandmother immediately went along with me and and agreed to help me with that. All these years I was constantly in touch with them. I kept in touch with them, helped them out as much as I could financially, and came to visit them every few months or so. I knew my son loved me very much and was always I knew my son loved me and was always waiting for me to come back.

Now I am back in the city and I don’t plan to leave in the future. I have a young man with whom I live at his place. I am a homemaker, I go to work, I have never abused alcohol, and I don’t plan to in the future. I guess it’s time to get my son back with me. Especially since my boyfriend is not against it, on the contrary, he thinks that the child should live with his mother.

We are in a very serious relationship. It would seem that everything worked out as well as possible, but then suddenly my grandmother is against it.

I guess she’s just afraid of being alone. Since I am not restricted in my parental rights, it didn’t seem to be a problem for me to just come and get my son. Except that it would spoil any relationship with her, which I didn’t want to do at all.

And the boy seemed to have grown very attached to her over the years, too. And I am sincerely grateful to her for her help. Here actually is the question, how to correctly act in this situation!

Suggested her option, namely to abandon my civilian husband – ruled out.

How do I do better?!
