From the very beginning I tried to establish a good relationship with my husband’s relatives – his mother and sister. But how, if they were never particularly interested in our life, and in fact they did not care about us and how we are.
My sister-in-law and mother-in-law used to live in another city. But two years ago they came to our city. Just quarantine came later, sister-in-law lost her job, and apparently they thought that since we are relatives, they can come to us to eat us and bathe in our bathroom.
They used to come only when I was home, but when they came they would stay up late into the night. They would wait for the food, get their hopes up, and then they would leave.
But lately my husband and I have been working late, and the kids are home alone. So my sister-in-law and mother-in-law come in the morning and eat everything in the fridge, go shopping, try on my clothes, and leave.
More than once I wanted to raise a scandal, but my husband is against it. Lately we have been spending a lot on food and utilities because of them. But how to be without a scandal.
