The fox wandered around the store, wondering what to make for dinner. To be honest, she was already tired of racking her brains. There was no problem with the children – they even ate the “empty” pasta. But her husband and mother-in-law were always turning their noses up at her.
The fox picked up some groceries and left the store. As soon as she crossed the threshold of the apartment, her husband’s accusations poured out. You see, she takes too long shopping, and they sit hungry.
The woman did not understand why after her mother’s arrival her husband turned into a capricious, nagging grump, while before he could cook by himself and go shopping for groceries. Her daughter-in-law wanted to get rid of her mother-in-law quickly, but she was in no hurry to return home.
Lisa immediately set about putting things in order and washing the dishes that the housemates had collected all day. As soon as she had managed, she began to prepare the soup for tomorrow’s lunch:
– Darling, yesterday’s food is poison.
– And when do I have to cook if I work until 6? Besides, first courses aren’t cooked for one day.
– You have a snaky nature. I’m trying to help you, to support you, and things aren’t going well in the family. And you’re nagging me!
– What do you mean, it’s not going well?
My mother-in-law didn’t explain anything and just left the kitchen. Lisa got mad and went over to her husband:
– What are you not happy about?
The husband didn’t even realize what had happened. But when she got to the point, he began to complain that his wife does not care about his health, and pays little attention.
– You know what? You should not hide behind your mother’s skirt, and learn to earn money. Something does not suit you, go to her – she will cook you pickles. You’ll get it, darling, soon the good-natured Lisa will run out of patience! – answered his wife.
The man did not know what to do. He wanted to be a tough guy, as his mother had taught him, but he did not plan to lose his family. He knew his wife was right, and he was overreacting. He suggested that Lisa fight a fake fight to get her mother to leave. The woman laughed in her husband’s face and went to bed.
In the morning, Lisa woke up and told her husband that it was his turn to go get breakfast and groceries. Her mother-in-law heard this, waited for her daughter-in-law to leave, and came up to her son:
– “You’re such a wimp. You have to be a man. I’ll go to my daughter, at least she knows how to manage her husband. Not a wimp like you!
Her mother-in-law kept an eye on her youngest daughter, and her son-in-law was under her thumb. Lisa was the only one who didn’t bend to her. When her relative left, Lisa’s family again reigned in peace and comfort. Still, there’s no use having a third extra who tries to share their “wisdom of life.
