When we think of everything we want in life we dream of traveling, being successful or fulfilling that thing we long for, but it rarely crosses our mind that food can be a dream for some people. For this little dog, food can be a big dream and to make it come true he is carrying a bowl of food with him.
The World Animal Awareness Society is a nonprofit organization that was created to “explore, observe and produce programs on human-pet interaction.” The group, founded in 2010, uses art in film to shed light on the struggles of animals in need. While the team was working on a documentary and while filming homeless animals, there was one case in particular that touched everyone.
They went to Detroit, where they followed a small group of dogs. It didn’t take long for one of the dogs to catch their interest; the group couldn’t stop following him as they tried to figure out what he was doing. Suddenly, a hungry dog came with the perfect solution to put food in his empty belly, a dish that he carried everywhere.
This dog carried his dish to where the team was. He kept walking with the dish in his mouth – that was his way of imploring someone to fill it. The humans’ hearts melted when they knew what was happening. This dog desperately needed help, and he could not be denied. The team happily gave him and his doggy friends something to eat. The video definitely made an impact on its viewers. Many praised the team for feeding these poor puppies.
