One of the hardest hit areas was Caddo Parish in Louisiana, where two brothers – Josh and Jeremy Collins risked their lives to save as many animals as they could. The water started rising rapidly and soon it reached dangerous levels, but that didn’t stop the young men from using all means possible to get the animals out of harm’s way. They used a boat, a truck and even their bare hands to help dozens of deer, armadillos, turtles and other creatures escape death.

This incredible act of heroism gained them admiration and respect from people all over social media who called them heroes. And rightfully so – not many would have had such compassion in moments when everything seems hopeless.
