Girlfriend constantly waiting for likes from married subscriber

It’s been two years now that I’ve been living quietly without social media. I only use my phone for basic functions – to call, to find something on a search engine, when to take some picture. I’m independent in that regard. I used to have this social media fever too. Wherever I was registered, keeping my profiles, impulsively gathering an audience, posting all sorts of silly stuff and waiting for people to respond to it all. And then at one point I realized it was all stupid.

We’re all so caught up in our virtual lives that the real life just passes us by. In short, I deleted myself from all social media, I’m not there anymore and never will be. I chose the real world. But as for my friend – she has gone completely crazy with these social networks. She has a profile on several, frantically gathering followers, posting some photos every day, doing polls, looking at likes. About two months ago a guy subscribed to her. So he put some likes here and there. The friend, of course, went to his profile to see who it was. And oh my God, she realized that she just fell in love with this guy.

He’s a businessman, reasonably good-looking and all of a piece of work. But more importantly, he’s married with three kids. In short, now her friend day and night, frantically waiting for this guy again put her like. Each of our conversation begins with the fact that she was looking at the statistics of likes, and Paul did not put it any, although her page looked at. I, of course, told her to calm down. First of all, he’s married, it’s silly to imagine anything. He’s a busy man and you have to respect that. Secondly, the fact that he liked it does not mean anything even.

But for her friend, it was a sign to action. Recently he liked some photos of her again, and she immediately texted him, saying, “Let’s get acquainted. He read the sms, but did not respond. Well, her friend was hysterical as the man of her dreams, but did not respond, he just put her likes. In general, every day now I listen to her about how bad men are, how it is possible to put Tweets and not get acquainted. It makes me laugh – why do people take virtual life so seriously?

Although in reality it should be sad. You have to live in reality, but many people are happy with the way things are. In the virtual world, you can be anything – as long as you put the right light on the photo and wear trendy clothes. That’s it, you’re a star. But in reality, if you haven’t achieved anything, you have nothing.
