Recently visited a gynecologist. As usual, there was a queue, and the doctor was late – he was late for surgery. Behind me was a pregnant girl of about eighteen, she came not alone, but with the father-to-be, the same age. The “parents” didn’t pay any attention to the line, and behaved as they saw fit. The daddy was snickering to the entire hallway about his son being born:
– Isn’t it cool that it’s a son? Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee…
He said this phrase ten times, and then it hit him:
– Oh, so we haven’t named it yet! Let’s name him after some doctor!
The tread marks of his father stretched from one door in the clinic to the other. He read the names of the doctors and commented with a goofy look. Closing the perimeter, the guy sat down next to the girl, and suddenly fell in love with her. An elderly woman who was passing by told him off:
– Young man, please calm down!
The young man turned his head in surprise at the remark, looked at the woman, and said:
– Grandma’s pregnant, too! Hee-wee-wee-wee-wee…
His friend chuckled softly, with the same silly look on her face. I restrained myself with the last of my strength, I did not want to start a scandal with a pregnant woman. The next topic the father began to develop – food, or rather, munchies:
– I’m starving! Ya-ya-ya-ya-ya…
– And I’m hungry, and the line is still half an hour…
– Let’s go make dumplings! Later, we’ll come back sometime!
– I don’t want dumplings, let’s buy dumplings!
– You’ve become capricious! Hoo-ha-ha-ha…
From this “humming” I just turned over inside, but, thank God, a couple went to, I do not know, for dumplings, or dumplings, it was unimportant. The important thing was that they left.
I was horrified to think about what kind of upbringing they would give the future child, and I did not find an intelligible answer. Could it be that the baby who is born to the “humming” of the father will grow up to be as small-minded and narrow-minded? I would like to hope that grandparents will interfere in the process of upbringing, although if they raised such children, the situation is unlikely to change with their grandchildren.
