It is important to mention in case you don’t know, that the word “mapache” comes from the Nahuatl word “mapactli” which could be translated as “the one with hands”. This name is due to the fact that raccoons have small hands similar to those of people, which allow them to grab things as well as uncover garbage cans and even open doors or remove locks.
But not only do raccoons have this similarity with humans, they also do things that leave us surprised or even dumbfounded, such is the reaction of Internet users who made viral a video where a couple of loving raccoons are lying on some rocks on the beach, as if it were a romantic date. But not only that scene is worthy of any love movie, because in the viral video the most endearing and laughable part of the situation is that the raccoon couple is giving each other tremendous kisses.
As if it were a couple of humans in love, the raccoons are giving each other affection, touching each other’s faces, and to the rhythm of the waves of the sea they are intensely kissing each other. This fact caused commotion in social networks because the tongue kisses between the raccoons are reminiscent of the classic French kiss, which undoubtedly these little animals imitate more than perfectly.
