The best thing about this story is that the lenses not only helped improve the dog’s eyesight, but they also improved her overall disposition. Her parents were blown away by how happy their pup was now and could barely contain their emotions when seeing her run around and play like she used to.
The surgery seemed to go alright, but soon after she started having seizures. Chris and Mariesa were beside themselves with worry – what could be happening to their poor dog? The vets weren’t sure either, so they did an MRI in order to try and find out the cause of Gremlin’s seizures.
What they found was a tumor on her brainstem that was causing all the problems!
After doing some research, they found out that Gremlin was likely feeling this way because of a lack of stimulation and exercise. To help get their dog back to her old self, they started taking her on more walks and playing fetch with her regularly.
They also began adding puzzle toys into her daily routine which gave her something fun to do mentally as well as physically. Within just a few weeks, Gremlin’s mood had improved drastically and she was back to being the playful pup she used to be!
