It seems incredibly strange to hear in the 21st century about people who are completely unadaptable, but they do exist. Take just the families in which parents are terribly protective of their children. In such families, the child is the center of the world, even if the child is 50, everything is handed to him on a silver platter. And then the parents are gone, and the child is left alone in the cruel world of reality, where it’s every man for himself. The story will tell just such a case.
They had a great family – a mother, a father and a daughter. They lived well, they had enough of everything. Why not – the father of the family was constantly going to work in the north of Russia and brought decent bills. That is why they decided that his wife had no reason to work – she could be a housewife and create a homely home. The daughter did not need anything either, for her father promised to support everyone. That is why she did not go to school and ended up working nowhere. It was like a fairy tale. Yes, but only for the time being.
The whole village was buzzing with the news. Sarah had died in her sixty-five years – her heart had stopped, and Donna was alone. How could it be! What will she do now? Donna couldn’t even boil an egg – her mother did everything for her.
At forty, Donna really was alone. Her father used to earn money and support her and her mother, but then he left for the other world. And now her mother, who used to organize her life and didn’t even let her daughter wash a plate after herself, is dead as well.
Completely unaccustomed to life in this world, Donna was left alone. Fortunately, at least her house and savings remain.
This begs the question – why make your children moral disabilities? Parents, you will be gone one day – on the contrary, you should teach your children to look after themselves and be independent, shouldn’t you?
