The locals were able to get the baby moose down from the fence and back into the wild. She seemed like she was grateful for their help!
The really nice people who helped the little moose filmed their rescue mission and uploaded it on YouTube. They start by sawing one of the panels in order to make some space for the poor animal to escape. But even with a bit more space, she was still having difficulties getting out, as her antlers were stuck between the gate’s bars. So they had to use a lot of force until they finally freed her from this scary situation!
It’s heartwarming to see people risking their lives in order to help an animal they don’t even know, and we can only hope that the freed moose will stay safe from now on.

Hanson happened to be driving by when she saw the animal’s predicament and stopped to help free it.
