Redditor TheCodyguy recently shared a heartwarming story of his animal rescue success, and it serves as a reminder that there is always hope for these vulnerable creatures.
The Codyguy writes:
“I adopted two kittens from the side of the road in February. It was cold and they were covered in snow. I took them home, gave them food and water, and got them warm.”

After examination, the veterinarian sadly told Nikki and her husband that four of the kittens had to be euthanized because they were too sick. The other three — including one with a broken leg — would need round-the-clock care if they were going to make it. It was a lot of work, but Nikki decided she would take them all in and nurse them back to health herself.
It’s been about two weeks since those sad events unfolded, and the little tabbies are finally starting to open their eyes! They’re still being bottle fed every few hours around the clock, but things are slowly looking up for these furry survivors.

Nikki bottle-fed the little one for two weeks. She was determined to keep it alive and help it grow up healthy. The kitten has since been adopted by another family, but Nikki will always remember being there for her when she needed it most.
Bagel’s story is one of hope, and it goes to show that no animal is ever truly beyond saving. If you have a heart for animals, never give up on them – they may very well surprise you in the end.
