There’s no doubt that cats love their humans, they just show it in different ways. Some cats follow their human around and others might sit by them or sleep next to them. Kodi is definitely a loving cat and it’s so sweet how much he misses his dad when he goes to work!

Some people may still not believe that cats can miss their owners, but after watching this video, I think most people would agree that cats do form emotional bonds with their owners. My cats definitely react when I leave the house – they’ll either cry and meow for me or hide under furniture until I come back.
And like Kokobean, my cat also follows me around constantly and seems to genuinely enjoy being around me. So yes, I do believe that many cats depend emotionally on their owners.
