Fozzie, the runt of the litter, was born eight weeks ago at an emergency veterinary clinic. Mango, Fozzie’s mother cat, was unable to birth her remaining kittens so three more were rescued and reunited with their mother and sibling after an emergency C-section.
In just a few days, Mango became an attentive and protective mother to her kittens. She played with them, cleaned them, and gave them lots of love.
When Sparkle Cat Rescue took in Mango and her four kittens, they were all suffering from upper respiratory infections (URIs). The rescue organisation did everything possible to get the cats healthy again, including providing medication and fostering them in a clean environment.
After weeks of treatment and care, Mango’s kittens are all on the mend! They’re still being monitored by Sparkle Cat Rescue for any signs of relapse but so far they appear to be completely recovered. This just goes to show that with some TLC – whether it’s from humans or furry friends – even the sickest animals can make a miraculous recovery.
Nina, the mother cat and her 5 kittens are all healthy and happy.
As they grew older, the kittens loved to play together and nap in the sun. They were becoming more active every day, and their mom was always there to watch over them. At night she would curl up next to her babies and keep them warm while they slept. Soon it wouldn’t be long before they were ready to venture out on their own!
As she grew older, though, Honey Bear became much more adventurous. She was always the first one to explore new areas of her home and was constantly learning new things. Her brothers would sometimes try to follow her around and imitate everything she did, but they could never quite keep up!
The tabby kitten loves to play and explore. She is very active and curious, always investigating her surroundings. She loves being around people and enjoys playing games with them.
The kittens are now four weeks old and they have started to play with each other. They also enjoy climbing all over their mother, who is patiently waiting for them to grow up a bit more before she starts hunting for food herself.
