I always knew Rebecca was married. That’s why we got together-I complained about my mother and her strained relationship with her, and she complained about her husband. He made her work, strained her with children, because they were both in their thirties, and generally didn’t give her a life. Over these complaints in each other’s company we had a glorious time, and when we realized that there were far more weighty reasons and feelings connecting us, Rebecca said she would leave her husband.
She promised in January, she promised in March, but now the summer has passed, and she is still with her husband. I carry her in my arms, and I guarantee that I will behave the same way in my marriage. She can be a princess without doing anything, I will provide for her and do everything for her. But she clings to her husband for some reason. She stopped complaining about him recently, and cries sometimes because of him.
– How can I leave him? He’s all alone, and he’s going bald. With his temper it will be hard for him to find another woman.
I don’t know why she pities him. She said he didn’t do anything for her, that I was the only one she felt good about, and now she won’t divorce him. She used me as long as she wanted, made a lot of promises, and now she expects me to let her go?
I know that getting involved with a married woman was originally a bad idea, but now I love her. I’d move mountains for Rebecca. Couldn’t I get what I wanted by taking her away from some impudent man?
