I warned you about that, didn’t I? Now live as you wish with this child!

Olivia herself grew up in a large family, and as the second eldest sister, she was obligated to babysit the younger ones, take them to day care, and help the older one with the cooking. She had already gone through all those sleepless nights, so when she became pregnant in her first year of high school, she had an abortion without a second thought. The operation had been done wrong somehow, because in the end all the doctors said she couldn’t have any more children, and Olivia was just happy about it. She had no plans to become a mother.

She didn’t want to hear about children, and she had discussed it with her future husband when they first started dating. He pretended to be understanding, he said that he did not want children either, but knowing that Olivia was infertile, he tried to hint at children from the orphanage. Her husband constantly praised those kids, tried to make her feel sorry for them. Olivia tolerated it for a long time until her husband drove her mad and she rudely explained to him that if by some miracle they had a child, she would leave him. She didn’t want children.

They lived like that, just the two of them, but her husband still gave his wife hints, worked her over so that two years later he could surprise her and bring home a baby boy from the Baby Home. A baby boy. Olivia was furious with anger, but her husband thought she was blushing with embarrassment.

– I told you so. I warned you,” she whispered through her teeth, looking at the misunderstanding in her husband’s hands. – I’m not going to be a mother to anyone. Take this baby and your things and get out of the apartment. Raise whoever you want, wherever you want and with whomever you want, but don’t let my eyes see you!

She had told him that they could live happily ever after without children, everything would have been fine for both of them and her husband in particular, but he had chosen a different path. Now let him do what he thinks is right, just away from Olivia.
