A mother thinks Adam is not an independent child when he is thirty and even married.

Some mothers cannot accept the fact that their child has long grown up. Particularly difficult for those who have only one child and he early blossomed out of the parental nest.

Such was Rebecca’s case. She raised her most beloved son in care and love, did everything for him, and hoped that her son would be her main concern until almost his old age, but Adam quickly grew up and wanted to study in another city. His mother was ready to sell the apartment and move for his whim, and Adam could hardly talk her out of it.

During the four courses his mother often visited her son in the dormitory, brought him food, sent him canned food by mail, and every day wondered how her favorite son was eating, whether he had any pain, whether he had a girlfriend. When a miracle happened and Adam was bitten by the quiet and modest Monica, he hid it from his mother for a long time, fearing jealousy, and then just confronted the fact – get married and that’s it.

Mom was alone again in her town, and Adam was building a new family in another part of the country. He was mature and responsible, but his mother did not give him any peace even in married life. She called all the time, wanted to know all the news, and if only her son tried to ignore him, she came to visit and scolded Monica severely. Their relationship was very strained and jealous.

Adam was afraid that his mother’s antics and overprotection might lead to a divorce, and one day he spoke out to her. And about how intrusive she was, and that in his old age he would not go to her house, and that he would never show her grandchildren, or she would torture them to death with their worries.

Rebecca has not kept in touch with her son for more than four months. She is afraid to call herself, not wanting to be pushy, and Adam does not even think of calling her to inquire at least about her health.

Whose fault do you think this is? Rebecca for smothering her son with her concern? Or is it Adam’s fault for not finding the right soft words to explain calmly to his mother what he doesn’t like?
