We live like in a circus, honestly! To the left of us live middle-aged challdefrees, and to the right lives a large family with as many as eight children. These neighbors are so loud, I can’t tell you!
Ours is an unusual entryway for the city, as usually all the neighbors don’t know each other much and rarely socialize. Our neighbors, on the contrary, are very inquisitive and do not mind to pick at each other’s bones at their leisure. Everyone is aware of the details of the private life of everyone who lives in the house.
The picture we see is of people with many children condemning childless couples, who, in turn, are outraged by their behavior. Every time a childless couple waits for all the family members to come up the stairs, it is accompanied by a dramatic sigh and the words:
– Will you ever run out? It’s as if there are a hundred of you coming,” indignant child care workers.
– But you’re all alone, like fingers! You selfish kids! – The mother of the family countered.
And starts ping-ponging with mutual recriminations. Childless shouted:
– Who did you breed this poverty? Children grow up like weeds, left to their own devices. Unkempt, in rags!
It did not take long for the mother with many children to reply:
– But we gave the children a life. They already have everything they need, and the rest is surplus. And you are always on your own. Aren’t you ashamed? What good have you done in this world?
And then there’s a half an evening of arguments. I don’t know when it’s gonna end. I heard that a couple with many children is not going to stop there. The confrontation between these two families is likely to last the entire time they live next door to each other.
