It just so happened that my childhood friend back in high school became my daughter-in-law. Maybe some people the difference of eleven years will seem unacceptable, but neither my girlfriend nor my brother, she was not confused.
One sunny summer day my friend stopped by for a chat. She did not come as a friend, however, but as my future daughter-in-law and my brother’s favorite spouse. Both my parents and I were shocked that day.
We had been best friends since we were children, but even I could not have guessed that two of my closest people were in love with each other. We all accepted the news, our lovers soon became married, and then they had a baby girl that we were all really looking forward to. A year later the couple had their second child.
Time passed, the children grew, and the married life took turns from one side to the other. Maybe someone will be surprised, and say that this is a perfectly normal desire. I am not going to argue with you on this subject, but I will only say one thing, that she became deeply addicted to this thought. As the children grew older, she took a job. She was excited about the idea of self-actualization, rushing to work in the morning and leaving the office later than anyone else. At that time, my little brother shouldered the burden of not only providing for the family financially, but also of doing all the housework and taking care of the children.
And then came the day that completely changed the lives of two people. The social networking sites and the phone opened the brother’s eyes to what was going on with his wife: why she showed an increased interest in her appearance, she began to float like a butterfly, and her depression vanished without a trace.
As the young spouse was taking her morning shower, she received a text message that shocked my brother, in which the boss thanked her for a pleasant evening together, and admired her elegance and beauty.
However, it didn’t end there. My brother decided to check his wife’s social media accounts and found a bunch of candid pictures my wife had sent to her boss. How do you think my brother acted in this situation? I’ll surprise you!
My brother loved his wife so much that he turned a blind eye to her betrayal, thus deciding to give their family a chance to remain a family. Of course there was a lot of talking and figuring things out, my wife swore her eternal love and devotion to my brother, and that there was nothing but flirting between them. For the sake of love, many of us would do anything. My brother was also no exception and being a strong, brutal man, he forgave the woman he loved.
