A woman standing in the doorway of her hotel room in Gatlinburg, USA, saw a bear walk past her. The video was recorded by another tourist who was vacationing at the same hotel as the lady. Upon seeing the bear, the woman even tried to warn the other woman who did not seem to hear what she was saying. “Ma’am, ma’am, there’s a bear behind you – ma’am, turn around now! There’s a bear behind you,” the two women shouted.
Meanwhile, the lady remains silent without realizing that a black bear was heading towards her. When she finally noticed the animal’s presence, she approaches her bedroom door and points her cell phone camera to take a picture. Fortunately, the bear was only interested in the food that was in the trash.
“While on vacation in Gatlinburg, a black bear was visiting hotels and taking snacks from trash cans. A lady distracted by the phone walked past the bear. We tried yelling to get the lady’s attention.”
“She ended up stopping in her hotel room and noticed the bear, which was an arm’s length away from her. She turned around and took a picture. The bear knocked over the trash can, ate a snack, wandered around some more, before quietly returning to the woods.”
The video was posted on YouTube channel ViralHog on January 25 and soon went viral with more than 1 million views. It also had 29,000 likes and 1,668 comments.
“Tennesseans are so polite, they yell ‘Ma’am!” during imminent death. I love it,” commented one.
“The bear was like, ‘Good evening, ma’am, ignore the rabble over there. Hope you’re having a good day,'” said another.
“I love it when he looks at her, she turns around and looks at the wall like, ‘I’m not doing anything bear, no sudden moves hahaha,” said one ultimo.
