I was vacationing with a friend at the sea one day. There was an ice cream stand on the beach next to the cafe. So we were sitting in a summer cafe, drinking a fresh frigate, as we saw that there were people crowded together with ice cream. My friend was curious, so we went to the pile. There was a girl lying on the ground unconscious. A woman was sitting next to her, crying and trying to revive her. My friend wasn’t confused. He took a bottle of water, poured it over her, felt for her pulse, and then realized that we had to give her artificial heart massage. He ordered me to call an ambulance.
A few minutes later the doctors arrived and took the girl away. But before they left, they thanked my friend. Frank saved this girl’s life. I was surprised. Not by my friend’s heroic act, but by the fact that most people just stood there and watched. Some were taking pictures and some were just staring at the girl’s body. Maybe I wouldn’t have been able to react in such a situation either, like my friend; but the important thing is that the girl was saved. The next day we were sitting in the same cafe, having breakfast. Suddenly three cool foreign cars pulled up to the entrance.
– What nice cars. I wish I had one of those. – Frank said. Six men of Caucasian appearance got out of the cars. They were heading towards our table. One of them asked: – Which one of you saved the girl yesterday? I pointed to my friend. It seemed to me that they were in the mood for a peaceful conversation, though they looked very stern.
The guys thanked him and shoved the keys to one of the foreign cars into his hand. It turned out that these guys were the girl’s brothers. They couldn’t help but thank Frank, because he had saved their only sister. His friend could not come to his senses for a long time. He had been saving up for a car for three years, but could not buy one.
