Puppy does not hide his happiness of finally having a window for himself on the fence

Harry’s owners made him a window in the fence so he could see through it as he always wanted. He didn’t wait any longer to debut it the day it was ready, and just by seeing his smile they understood that he liked it very much. Happiness is often achieved with the simplest things in life, those details that we often ignore or don’t appreciate enough, give more than enough joy to some people and animals.

Harry is a little dog who has everything a furry dog would want, a home to live in, an owner who loves him, and a yard to play in and be free. While he values these elements, there was something missing to complete his joy. The backyard of Harry’s house has plenty of room for him to run, rest, and play, but the fence that bordered it prevented him from seeing the scenery behind it because the boards were so close together that looking between them was a challenge.

Until a storm knocked it down and his family put up a new one. That’s when its owner, Alex Mcleish, discovered his desire to see beyond it. “When my dad rebuilt the fence, there were some gaps – that’s when I caught Harry peering through the holes!” he told The Dodo. Then Alex came up with the brilliant idea to make a hole that was at Harry’s height so he could see what he wanted. A small window that has changed his life.

“I jokingly suggested it to my dad after I caught Harry spending a good amount of time looking through the holes – I woke up on a Sunday morning and my dad was making it for him!” detailed Alex to the media outlet. As soon as it was ready, Harry didn’t wait any longer to unveil it.

The little dog could not hide his happiness at being able to look beyond the fence. The smile on his face said it all and he seemed grateful for the simple invention.

“Harry knew it was for him. He watched my dad when he was doing it like he was waiting for him to finish,” the owner told The Dodo.

Since then he spends a lot of time glued to his window to watch people and other doggies walk by, or whatever comes along while wagging his tail from the happiness he feels. “He sits there for hours and only comes in when we call him,” Alex told the media outlet.
