Dogs are man’s best friend and there is no doubt about it, and these furry friends show us time and time again that in any scenario they will be there to defend us, take care of us or shelter us, or all three together, just like this little dog did. This dog from Colombia has conquered the world, after the way he took care of his owner who fell asleep on the floor after a drunken binge.
The story originating from the municipality of Ubaté, in the region of Cundinamarca in Colombia, has as protagonists this puppy and his master, where the latter did not manage to get home before falling asleep after a long party and his canine decided to give him the company he needed. According to local authorities, all this happened last April 9, when they found this guy lying on the floor sleeping peacefully outside his home. Of course they went over to check if everything was in order, as they imagined that the man might be injured and in need of help.
As they approached the scene, they saw that the man was simply sleeping and his dog was accompanying him and protecting him from the cold and from any stranger, as according to the officers, the dog became aggressive when they tried to wake his owner. After almost 15 minutes trying different methods to carry the man, they ended up knocking on the door of his house and a woman came out, who helped them to lift him up and put him in his bed. On the dog’s side, they indicated that he looked happy after they helped his master to enter the house.
It was Gabriel Guerrero, the police officer who shared the event on his Facebook account, who added that the puppy was perched close to his owner to protect him from the cold.
