Late in the afternoon of September 16, heavy machinery operator Nelson Cardoso was driving a motorcycle on the road between Nazário and Claudinápolis, in the central region of Goiás, and came across an armadillo. Moved by the animal lying on the side of the road, the man parked and helped it by giving it water, hugging it and moving it away from the asphalt.
