Anna was a very good woman. Even too good – everyone rode her. But in time she learned to be sly, and the “riders” themselves obeyed her.
My husband was a grumpy old grouch – always disgruntled about something. Shouted? Anna fed him a tasty dinner, poured him a shot. He’s already softened up. My daughter was capricious until she got married. Then she met a Caucasian, and he took her to his homeland.
True, it was very difficult with my son. He was always whining and was a mama’s boy. Anna always felt sorry for him, because he was often ill. Against the background of frequent acute respiratory viral infections he was allergic to dust. Since then, his mother had to wet clean and make clean clothes every day, without a single speck of dust.
Jack, coming back from the army, immediately decided to get married. His daughter-in-law came from a dysfunctional family. Poor and shabby.
– Why did you bring her? Did you find her in a garbage dump? – The father was indignant.
– It’s not her fault her parents drink. I love her, Daddy! – Jack was mad.
She reassured her husband not to frighten the poor girl. Anna was against judging a man by his clothes. The daughter-in-law was already trembling with fear, but in time she got used to it.
They decided to live with us. The first time Victoria tried to put in order and keep everything clean. But then she started putting her dirty laundry in her mother-in-law’s basket. Anna washed everything, though she was squeamish, but did not want to provoke a conflict.
After the wedding Victoria became completely lazy. Dishes are stacked, does not cook, do not take a cloth in his hand. The father-in-law began to get nervous. He felt sorry for his wife – she did work for four. They were scandalized so much that the newlyweds decided to move out to a rented apartment.
They did not invite my father, only my mother. Anna used to grasp her head when she stepped over the threshold of their apartment – everything was covered with dirt.
– Victoria, you can’t do that. We have to clean up – Jack is allergic, – somehow Anna decided to talk.
– You should not have kept him in sterility as a child. It’s your own fault that she has allergies,” barked her daughter-in-law.
– Well, why don’t you buy household chemicals? Why do you wash everything with laundry soap?
– My mother did so, and so will I. No need to spend money on all sorts of nonsense.
After a while, my daughter-in-law was going to have an anniversary. Anna bought her all kinds of cleaning chemicals and put them in a beautiful box. My daughter-in-law gasped when she saw such a gorgeous gift.
– What’s all this? Cosmetics and stuff? That’s a cool gift!
– No, I don’t know anything about cosmetics. But this gift will come in handy.
– You mean you’re my washer-dryer? Do you think that I am such a mess that I should be given powders even for my birthday? – My daughter-in-law cried.
– Well, stop it. I did not mean to offend you.
Daughter-in-law went to the bathroom to cry, and Jack attacked his mother. He said that she ruined his wife’s birthday. Anna decided to quickly rectify the situation:
– So it’s not a gift. I just brought it. And here’s for Victoria – mother-in-law handed out the money.
Since then, the mother-in-law has not been allowed on the doorstep. Jack sometimes visits his parents himself, but his daughter-in-law does not want to know them. But Anna has noticed that her son is dressing cleaner now, and you can see from the pictures that there is no longer the same mess. So Victoria had made some conclusions!
Should she be offended because of such a gift?
