Ten years of marriage, much or little? That’s how many years Samantha lived with Alexei. They seemed like the perfect family, but then Samantha got pregnant.
They met right after university. They did not meet for a long time, they moved in together and got married. Alex repeatedly said that he did not want children. Throughout the years Samantha took precautions, but one day she was let down by contraception. A woman saw two lines on the test.
She didn’t know how to tell her husband. Samantha secretly went to the gynecologist, had all the tests and an ultrasound to make sure the baby was okay. That’s when she told Alex. He instantly became furious. Samantha had never seen him this nervous. He sent her to an abortion. Her husband immediately warned her that if she refused, he would file for divorce.
Understandably, Samantha chose the child. The next day, Alex packed his bags and disappeared. Samantha thought he had gone somewhere, but he was actually watching his wife’s every move closely. He was even under the ultrasound room and heard that there would be twins. At the maternity hospital, he made arrangements with the doctors and met the babies. True, he did not dare go into the room with his wife.
One day a nurse admitted to Samantha that her husband was visiting the babies. She rejoiced silently, but did not give the appearance. Then one day Alex came to his wife and said:
– “Samantha, I’m sorry. I’ll try to explain everything. I was three years old when I stayed with my mother. She was pregnant at the time, but that didn’t stop my father. The birth came early. They were very hard… my mother died. I grew up alone… My twin brothers died a day after my mother. That’s when I decided I didn’t want to become a father at that price.
Samantha cried and hugged her husband. She felt very sorry for him, for she had to remember terrible episodes from her life. They naturally reconciled and started to live together again. Only already not the two of them, but the four of them.
As the years go by, Alex and Samantha are crazy about each other. It was the two babies that they lacked for complete happiness.
