Alice’s pregnancy was not going well. She often fainted and ran to doctors. While she was sitting in the waiting room, for some reason she remembered her ex-husband. The past sent shivers down her body. That marriage was hell for the girl, but she tried to keep the family together to the last moment. It was a pity that her youth had been wasted…
She went to school with Adam. They started dating in the 11th grade and two years later they got married. Adam always talked about love, but Alice felt that he wasn’t sincere with her. It was like she was pulling everything on herself.
She had to force her husband to go to work, rent an apartment, achieve something. He didn’t want to decide anything on his own. Adam was a typical mama’s boy, used to taking it easy. After work he rushed not home, but to his mother.
– She misses me,” he used to make excuses to his wife.
Alice realized that her mother-in-law was the third extra in their marriage, which spoils everything. She dreamed of having a child, but her husband was against it. Now she thanks God that she didn’t give Adam a baby.
Every year the number of grievances grew.
– My mother does a better job washing white socks.
– My mother cooks every day and doesn’t warm the food.
Alice was annoyed by this. At first she kept silent, but one day her patience came to an end. Her husband came home from work, ate a plate of fresh borscht and said:
– Ask my mother how she makes borscht. She tastes better!
Alice said everything to Adam, packed her things, and left for her parents.
Five years later she married for the second time. Her second husband is the exact opposite of her first husband. And Adam still lives with his mother, eats her delicious borscht and doesn’t bother.
Here comes the turn…
