Helena and Adam had planned the wedding down to the last detail. They decided to forego the ransom, the drive through the monuments, and the walk in the park. The banquet was to be held in a snow-white tent set up on the river bank.

Adam did not deny or flirt, but honestly admitted everything: he had briefly dated Inna. He knew that she was pregnant by him, but he did not refuse the baby and was willing to help them financially. He loves Helena very much and is afraid of losing her more than anything else in the world, and that’s why he didn’t tell her anything.
It took almost two years for Helena and Adam to get their family life together, the girl eventually was able to forgive her spouse. She dreamed so much about having a baby, but she kept failing to get pregnant.
Inna wasted no time all this time and put a lot of effort into destroying Adam’s family. She would often sit with the baby on a bench outside their apartment building where the young couple lived.
The other day, Helena and Adam had a big fight. Inna wrote to Helena that Adam wanted to leave her and wanted to tie his life to a woman who had a child with him, because Helena was apparently an empty shell. Adam then told his spouse that she was free to think whatever she wanted, but he had no feelings for Inna and was only helping the baby.
Corporate party turned out just gorgeous, and modest Helena really let loose on it. Sea of alcohol, hot dances and contests were supported by the desire to forget herself at least for a while…
The next morning her boss came up to her and said that their working relationship should not be affected by the events of the previous night. He added that he had just given her a slack, so she could not count on the continuation of the relationship, and he hoped that no one would find out about what had happened.
Helena didn’t understand how this could have happened. When she opened her phone, there were over twenty missed calls from Adam. When she came out of work, her husband was waiting for her outside the office building with a huge armful of roses. He begged her to believe that he really loved only her.
Within a month my childhood friend was sitting with me in a coffee shop, asking what she should do. Helena was about to become a mother, but she was in no hurry to accept congratulations, since she didn’t know who the father of the baby was.
