After the sale of the dacha, my grandfather visited and made “his own rules”

With the arrival of spring my parents had the thought of putting the dacha up for sale. Were adults and not in good health to take care of the garden plot. The daughter brought up children, worked, there was no time to help. The pensioners thought for a long time, but made up their minds.

The senior daughter breathed out: they will not be offended any more. It was difficult to find time to help with the vegetable garden. The more so, it was necessary to go far away. Rebecca had told her parents more than once to sell. In return, she could buy a plot of land closer to home. She didn’t want to spend all her time weeding. A recreational area, where you can read a book, have a picnic, is another matter. And for my parents, the dacha was a source of preserves.

Weekends flew by quickly for Rebecca and her husband. There was no time for domestic chores. Her husband worked in such a position that he could even be called in at the weekend. Rebecca was well aware that the station brought more trouble than leisure. After the weekends spent there, a few more days of rest were needed.

So Rebecca was happy with that decision. The dacha was sold. They lived peacefully for a few years. And then the woman became bored. Still dreamed of a plot where she could just relax. Well, her husband suggested buying one.

The work schedule stabilized. So at the weekend it was possible to rest in the countryside in the fresh air. And it would be useful to the kids. We decided that the planting will not be enough: a couple of trees and bushes with berries, so the children will have vitamins for the drive. We told parents at once that the dacha will be solely for rest: no planting beds and weeding. Everybody liked the idea. We only had to decide what plot to choose.

We looked through a lot of options. At last we have found the right one: with a decent house, necessary plantings. The seller was a grandfather. My wife did not have a wife already and he did not work with gardens. That is why he decided to sell.

Everything was registered. Rebecca was overjoyed: the dream had come true. The house is nice, it is possible to live in, it was possible not to repair it yet. We decided to start to improve it in the summer. We went on vacation and devoted all the time to the dacha.

The first week we spent quietly. And then grandfather, who sold the dacha, started to visit them. He warned me that he was coming to get the rest of the stuff. No one objected. Only he started complaining. At first we had to justify ourselves for the bush, which we got rid of. It was dry. Then for the kalina, which was not needed.

Grandfather began to say that there was no such agreement. After all, he and his wife planted the bush a long time ago, and the cranberry was always needed. Then he saw that instead of strawberries we now have stones. And this was an alpine hill – decorated the plot.

Grandpa went around the whole plot. And he found something to complain about everywhere. In the end, my husband couldn’t stand it and spoke out. We paid money for this piece of land. According to the documents it is our property. And we decide what and where it should be.

After all, the sale does not stipulate the fact that the former owner will continue to use the site. Then we wouldn’t make the deal. The grandfather left. But the next day he came back. With a bush in his hands. And he was going to plant it in place of the guelder rose.

Rebecca’s husband asked what was going on. As a result, offered to give us back our money, in him to stay on the plot. Grandpa refused, but he planted his wilberry anyway. Then a neighbor came by. She was surprised by the presence of the former owner. And he began to complain about the new tenants. The neighbor agreed that Rebecca and her husband had the right to dispose of the plot as they saw fit. Only that they could not bring this information to the pensioner.

A little later the neighbor shared the story that the grandfather had a fight with everyone on the street. After his wife was gone, his behavior was extremely strange. And you can not count on a quiet life: he will continue to come. Her neighbor wanted to warn her, but did not have time. She proposed to go to the board, that they explain to the old man.

While the conversation went on, the grandfather had already planted a bush and safely left the territory. Then he came back for more things, did something on the plot, and left again in silence.

In the morning Rebecca’s husband drove to work. He was an employee of a construction company. His attitude was good. He shared his story. Colleagues explained that he got the plot with a dowry. But they did not refuse to help: they began to put up a fence. Grandfather was away for just a few days. And upon his arrival, the old man found that he could no longer enter freely.

He cursed, tried to pass, and then went to the board. They already knew there that the old man was not letting the new owners live in peace. I don’t know what they told him, but after that he came only once – to get the rest of his things.
