Maria went to the clinic all the time and had all the tests right on time. The ultrasound showed that they were going to have a son. She and her husband prepared for his arrival, and gradually arranged the nursery: bought a decent stroller, expensive furniture. By his arrival, everything was ready.
And then Maria went into labor. That’s when something happened which no one expected. Even the doctors throw up their hands. Instead of the expected son, she gave birth to twins. Mary, of course, immediately burst into tears, sobbing, not understanding where another child could come from.
The doctors, of course, began to calm her down, saying that this is rare, but it still happens. It just happens that an ultrasound doesn’t show the presence of a second child because one of them covers up the other.
Maria kept crying, she even seemed to get depressed. She screamed at the whole room that she was only going to keep one baby. But when the doctors brought her both boys, she was in no condition to choose any one in particular. She cradled them in her heart and told them that she loved them both.
Maria’s husband was unspeakably happy about the fact that he would have two sons instead of one. It’s worth noting that the grandparents who were the most excited were the grandparents, who were unexpectedly happy that they would have two grandchildren at once instead of the expected one.
