Margie took the kitten home, gave her a warm bath, some food and water and put her in front of a space heater to get warm. The little girl began to purr so Margie named her “Purrl.” Purrl is now being fostered by one of Project Purr’s volunteers.
After Morris posted an SOS on the rescue group’s Facebook page, local residents helped search for days but to no avail. Finally, one resident who had been out of town when Tiny first went missing saw a cat that looked remarkably like her long-lost feline friend. They promptly trapped the kitty and brought her back home — where she was finally reunited with Morris after being gone for five months.
The kitten was successfully treated for his injuries and is now living a happy life with a loving family.
In the meantime, we recommend that you keep your distance from the kitten and any other cats in case of contagion.
He loves to play with his toys and run around, but he’s also very affectionate and enjoys being petted. He’ll be a great companion for someone who enjoys spending time with their kitty!
